Go hang out with local DJ's you like.
Listen to lots of music.
Read industry publications.
Watch youtube videos of DJ's mixing.
As far as the name goes, that's up to you.
Good luck and welcome to the club.

lets answer a few questions to get started:
what is your first and last name?
what type of music do you like listening to?
what is your height/weight?
do you have all 10 digits (fingers and toes)?
nike or adidas?
do you have rhythm (tap your foot in 4 count)?
when is a good time build and drop?
answer these: and we'll get started

I'm going to do something I despise, which is quote myself. But, I'm tired of always re-typing the same answer over and over again.

DJ nicknames are personal and, organic. Do a couple of gigs/shows/mixes and, someone will pay you a compliment. From those compliments, your name will come. good luck

Wait a minute...............kind of?????????? You kind of have rhythm???????? Is that like being kind of pregnant? ????????? That means you are missing every other beat. So DJ 1/2 Echo, or DJ Ec/ho. Actually, I think DJ Echo was rather clever. Good luck.
