Hey guys, I just started djing on my laptop and I would like to know if anyone could help me out to make learning a lot easier for me........I have a friend that dj's for fun & I actually think he's really good at it so I learned a few things from him but I feel I still need some professional help or atleast help from someone more experienced to help me get into this trade

Check out the DJ Forum for mixing lessons.

There are plenty of videos on YouTube too.

Ask some of the DJs in your area to help you out. This is something you will have to practice a lot. You will never stop learning. As stated, some youtube videos may also help you with the basics.

If you've JUST started djing then the first thing you're going to need to learn the basics. Like mixing and beatmatching. Also, you don't have to go digital like with Serato and VDJ with a controller. You could go the CD player route. If I were you though I would start out with JUST Virtual DJ and not purchase any hardware yet. Get used to the program and then once you think you're experienced enough start purchasing hardware that will help you with djing. Here's some YouTube links to help you out:
