last week i had just fixed my laptop optimising to make it work as a charm... and today my vdj and wego froze while i was searching a track, pressing shift and moving jog wheel fast forward. any ideas? whats wrong??

my machine was having the same problem. sound was pretty good no glitches no nothing. but once in 5 days it was freezing the VDJ and the WEGO with the one jog wheel running out of light. but sound keep playing without even one stop or glitch. but i was unable to do anything. i suppose when the song was out of time it will stop, but i was using a cdj to put a song, restart vdj and the wego and it was fine.
when this was happening i had some latency issues regarding ACPI.sys. giving me more than 2 ms on the system. though sound was really nice and no glitches.
now i've closed it and disabled antivirus the right way, i used to use the windows startup manager, but that kept the antivirus running in the backyard, so i've disabled it by its interface and now no hard pagefaults by antimalware.
also my latency now its absolut maximum 150-170 ms. almost nothing with DPC and with latency mon the same. no problems except that it keeps saying me about CPU throtling, i've checked it 10 times nothing on my BIOS to do or on my windows setting about it, CPU power is at 100% minimum-maximum, and the CPU meter bar is always at 10-20% and some times goes at 40-50%, also it says about bios update but sony VAIO havent launched a newly bios update for my model so its the latest.
2 days ago the same thing, but happened when i was searching a long track with very long intro. i was spinning so fast the jog wheel and also pressing shift button (track searching). and the wego froze also VDJ. i've put a CD to play in a cdj and i've openned latency mon immidiatly without closing the VDJ nor the wego, i've checked and nothing... latency was SOOOO FINE! so something else is the problem...though if it was latency problem i think i would have had sound glitches and stops, but my sound is very nice!
i've read somewhere about the searching problem on wego i think that why i posted. this is the first time that that freeze is happening on searching, before the last tunning on my system it was doin it even if i dont press nothing. while the wego was playing it was freezing, but the outcome was the same. VDJ froze and wego also froze with the one jog wheel run out of light.
