Hi, I would like to add a mapper, a key shortcut to turn on and off my echo effect on virtual dj. I've tried but can't find any. Could you guys help me?

This topic is quite old and probably the OP is referred to version 7 of VirtualDJ.
In case you are using VirtualDJ 8, then you can use..
or..
... to set the Beats of the Echo FX to 1/2
In case you are using VirtualDJ 8, then you can use..
effect_beats 'Echo' 0.5
or..
effect_slider 'Echo' 2 50%
... to set the Beats of the Echo FX to 1/2
