so we all waiting fpr this big update me myself i hope you goes start to care about this waveform cbg because this is the most unreliable part of the software to me...well timecode but its som much better with the help of this forum...but i seems mixvibes has built upon what is similar to VDJ waveform...with alot of things being bpm dependant that grid should be almost perfect ...like this... i feel they handle the waveform nicely..for example look how the down beat is indicated nice...not enough to switch but enough to wish you guys pay attention to the cbg in ver. 8

I think the cbg markers still look useless in VDJ8 from the teasers, but it will have full direct x support so there will be no more stuttering of the waveforms when your cpu gets overloaded as it should be handled by you video card and VDJ will get adions skill in creating a timecode engine "DJDECKS is on point in that regard". Also everything will be quantized to the beat if you so choose meaning loops will start on the beat where they are supposed to, cues will probably drop nicely on beat and there was a video from Ace showing that when jumping through the track it will stay on beat hopefully it will stay within the phrase though.

That said I think we will be waiting a while yet as there are no presentations on youtube from bpm.

I'm fully engorged due to the excitement... but I won't be much for stamina as the wait has me about to pop.
 
ooohhhhh...I like the whole video transitions interface there on that video. That is gonna be nice.
 
this should have a thread of it's own as it's a new video but....what the heck I just made one since this thread was about DJDecks.

I am seeing a lot of possibilities with V8!
 
okay went and downloaded djdecks and i kinda like it. even the waveforms. The effect section is amazingly nice..the touchpad was a nice touch.
If done right virtualdj8 will be nice. The interface is kinda crazy, but the sound was great, even with slow movement there was no digital artifacts.
So i loaded 2 videos, a couple of effects and my cpu meter stayed at 3% which was nice also.

KEEP DJDECKS CBG, ESPECIALLY THE DOWN BEAT ANCHORS. And please let it be able to save the analysis to file.

if you want some djdecks skin next levelness download the "dunks 1991" skin, he gives you re-sizable assets and a grid allows you to create tour own skin layout kind of like "the one" but better, you can then save four layouts which you can easily switch between.
