I say it is called filter, but the filter of virtual dj does not that sound so brusque.

that is in the production. It sounds like a gated appregiator synth making the sound and he has automated the level of the gate and a filter on the synth to open up. It's not something that you can do on VDJ as it is impossible to run synths, you can only use VST effects. If you had a song with a straight synth sound you could probably emulate something like it by using a a pan and a transform effect layered on top.. But it still wouldn't really come close. You would need to upgrade to VDJ Pro to be able to download and use effect other than the ones that come with the software.
