OK this is a weird problem. I am using a wireless mouse on my DJ laptop. My controller works fine but recently my mouse stops working when it sits idol for more than about 10 seconds. I put in new batteries to no avail . It was all working fine up till about a week ago and nothing has changed on my system between the time it was working and then when it started to mess up.
I hate using the touch pad on the laptop (but will if I have to).
Are there any suggestions?

I would suggest to use a normal wired mouse.
Also have in mind that some midi controllers conflict with wireless/bluetooth devices. If not mistaken the VMS4/VMS2 is one of them. I wouldnt risk stability of any device, if i could make it work the other way ;)
