I would like to be able to add multiple cues to a track, is it possible to use one key, that will check if cue 1 is present and set cue 2 and if cue 1 & 2 is present set cue 3 ?. thanks

This will definitely work for the first 5 cues, and you will always be able to add more cues while still retaining you existing ones. If you want more than 5 cues just extend the pattern. But adding any cues above 6 will be overwritten whenever the track is reloaded
hot_cue 4 ? set_cue 5 & cue_select 6 : hot_cue 3 ? set_cue 4 : hot_cue 2 ? set_cue 3 : hot_cue 1 ? set_cue 2 : set_cue & cue_select +1
This I am not sure of as it will only work properly the first time, after that it will simply overwrite your existing cues, but it is more dynamic and gives you up to cue 33
set_cue & cue_select +1
hot_cue 4 ? set_cue 5 & cue_select 6 : hot_cue 3 ? set_cue 4 : hot_cue 2 ? set_cue 3 : hot_cue 1 ? set_cue 2 : set_cue & cue_select +1

set_cue & cue_select +1
