Sujet: Needing some advice, countdown video on external screen

My setup is a djm 400 mixer plus 2 cdj 2000 and a trakor kontrol x1. What i am asking is i am going to be having a new years party this year in my own flat and what i was wanting to do is have this playing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbxYDC_Xf2c&list=PLv7F2HHSuYtIgqNXYEsF9ciICzfl5EuUe what should i do should i just burn the video to dvd and play it on my tv and play the audio in vdj. Any advice would be helpful ?

You're a PRO User.

VDJ can play videos in different formats than any other dj software in the market.

All you need to do is get a copy of that video and configure your video settings (you might need appropriate cables - VGA, HDMI, Composite).

I am sure there's instructions on the support/help tab if you will dig into it.

Since VDJ supports video mixing, any mixer that works with VDJ will also 'automagically' support video mixing.

You dont need a special mixer for this - your current controller will mix video just fine with VirtualDJ
 
Hi Jag, I do visuals for free for the guys on the forums that are used in clipbank and make countdown vids each year for new years eve, again free of charge.

update i have now moved into my own flat my tv is quite far away from my dj booth is there a way to stream it to my tv cause im not sure i could get a cable long enough to reach iits about 4-5 feet away
 
I'd take a cable over wireless video any day of the week - especially for a tiny distance like 4 feet!
 
got this setup now followed the guide but only thing is when i want 2 display the video i get what is display on pc screen on tv. How do i fix it ?
