I wanted to try to move virtual folders from one laptop to another. I copied over the VirtualDJ Database file to the other laptop and erased the one that was there and replaced it with the one from the other laptop. Now my database is only showing 550 songs and none of the virtual folders are there. What did I do and how can I fix??

What you did is fail to give enough details. :-)
Are the two laptops running the operating system?
Are your files stored on an internal or external drive (or are you moving from one to the other)?
Are your files stored in exactly the same directory structure (dir names/locations) on both laptops?

what he did was royally screw up too. NEVER delete anything before confirming you have 'said" folders and files.

This is why I Make Actual Folders inside my laptop rather than making it thru the software. You will never have a database issue.

So what was the issue (for the benefit of others who may encounter the problem)?

Well I use a external HD. I was only transferring the C drive database file and also saved that file to my new external HD. Once I realized There were two separate database files I got it.
