Sujet: Numark V7's Crashing !

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hello all.

So it's been a few years since I've seen a post on this topic but I'm afraid for my boss and I the problem still exists.
So a few years ago he splashed on two Numark V7's along with a Denon DN-X1600 Mixer. His problem straight away from purchasing his V7's is that he would do a gig and the V7's which were in A (Master) B (Slave) after 30 minutes they would both switch to master and freeze and freeze VDJ on him. A showstopper and certainly an awkward thing to happen, he has tried absolutely everything from switching from his Toshiba Satellite to a Macbook , changing OS on the Macbook to Win 7 (Not sure what Bit) and he was forced to use just one of his V7's while the other one sits alone in storage for around a year. Now we have ran into big trouble and the one V7 we have been using (That worked) seems to start freezing and glitching on a track (Sound cutting out to mixer , song stopping and starting) this one V7 setup with his Macbook has worked for the past year an absolute treat but now its beginning to become problematic.

I'm desperately trying to fix this problem for him and anyone who has suggestions or any little things I could do to at least fix on and hopefully fix both V7's to work with his setup would be so appreciated as he has spent a lot of money on these and its so disheartening to see them fail like this.

Setup:
Macbook - 2.0GHz (Must confirm this)
Ram - 4GB
OS - Win 7
2 V7's (Both not working reliably now)
Denon DN-X1600 Mixer
Virtual DJ 7

Thanks guy's ! Any bit of advice would be very much appreciated !

It would be a lot easier, if he came here, because he has all the info. You are not sure about a few of his specs. I also do not understand why someone would spend all that money, and then wait all this time to ask for help. Ask him to look here.

since i switch to an asus windows 7, intel i7, 64 bit, 8 gig of ram laptop from a sony vaio windos 7, intel i3, 64 bit, 8 gig ram my problems went away, the v7s also work much better almost perfect on my old toshiba 32bit windows xp with 4 gig of ram, i just switch from this one because it didnt handle video mixing.

FUI all my laptops have been set for dj purposes only, settings, performance etc.
