I have always used either maya44 pci card or usb version like this
Has anyone used the maya44+ as i believe this is the only version available now ( i.e cant get the first image type now)
I have never had issues with the original pci or usb but have never tried the newer usb version

I think the new one's a nicer design. It's quite possibly even the same PCB internally.
The new one looks like it should stand up to a bit more punishment, and it's good that there's no flying lead (although that could be a bad thing if you're forgetful).
