Sujet: I feel like a million bucks!

I just upgraded my sound system.

I am now the proud owner of a pair of EV Zxa5's and a set of Yorkville LS801PB'S.

These speakers are amazing! There is no other way to explain the sound and sheer VOLUME these speakers produce.

I have felt like my sound has been lacking since going all powered but that is a thing of the past now.

The yorkvilles are tremendous but pale in comparison to the EV Zxa5's.

The EV'S are hands down, bar none the BEST POWERED SINGLE 15 TO EVER BE MADE!!!

It takes 2 to 3 yorkvilles to keep up with ONE Zxa5.
The speakers are truly amazing!

I have the low end EV's, which are beast, so I can only imagine the sound on the Zxa5.

how to dust your place the fun way ........

1) open windows and/or doors

2) crank amp up to "11" .......
 
I just upgraded the drivers in all four of my subs. Can't believe the difference that has made too...

It's a good feeling when you realise such a change...

They are UNREAL!

IT'S CRAZY WHAT THESE EV ZXA5'S DO!!!!

I just got my yorkville ls801pb's. I hooked one up, hooked up a ZXA5 and DANM!!!

No Bull! These are just about the best if not THE best single 15 out there!

I had the Yorkville set to unity and had to turn the EV down to -12 to even the sound out. That's just about 7:00 on the EV'S to 12:00 on the Yorkvilles.

Incredible!

This is just running straight from mixer to sub then sub to top.
Using the Driverack will improve the sound and output even MORE!

INCREDIBLE!!!

If you want a great powered top, EV Zxa5's without doubt is the way to go.

If you know about the Yorkville LS801BP's then you understand just HOW AMAZING these EV ZXA5's are.

I may never need to get another set of tops!

Too bad I'm not in the market for new speakers, or I would check them out also.
 
i've been using the EV Zxa5's for a year now together with EV subs and 4 SX300E for small and big events with superb sound.
EV is my number 1.
 
I have unlocked this thread because of a request by the OP. Any reference to the driverack, will result in it being locked again. I have leveled most of the comments that did not fit into this thread, including mine. If someone with more stars wishes to edit, I have no objections. Again, let's stay on topic.
