Please turn off caps lock.

Have you checked you are running the latest drivers and firmware for your controller?

Also the latest version of Virtual DJ.?

And you're using the mains adaptor for the vms4, not just relying on usb power?

I had a problem with my VSM 4.1 when I was just using the USB to power the unit. Now I use the supplied power adapter and everything works fine.

If you are using the power adapter, make sure it's working. Are you using the same usb port all the time? Could it be a bad usb cable?

Turned off USB Energy Save Mode...?

Actually in some cases its the adapter that is causing the problems try using only the usb cable and see if it works out atleast that solved my problem with my vms.

How have you been taking care of your power adapter? the cable is rather flimsy and poor quality It almost sounds like your power cable is shorting out.

Give Kevin a call at American Audio. Explain your issue, ask him if he can send you a replacement power adapter to see if that solves your problem before you ship it back for repairs.

I am not sure if you tried different USB cables or you just changed the power settings.

The VMS 4.1 is another wonderful controller that is kinda glitchy/funky to say the least.

But it sounds like your power cable or your USB cable is shorting out.

There is about 3 different ways you can program your sound card ASIO driver.
But that is not the likely problem you are experienceing.

I understand your frustrated. You might need to get your caps lock button fixed as well, it might not even be the American Audio 4.1 that is broken it might be your computer.

I once had a computer that wouldn't come out of caps lock mode for typing it caused all kinds of ruckus with every single one of my DJ controllers. I had to buy a new computer. Hope that helps.
