I work in a club where 5 different DJs work 14 different shifts....each day a day and a night shift...one dj works at a time.
We all use the house computer which uses virtualDJ.
Each dj likes to set his own preferences like what shows up in the browser, clipbanks, etc..
Is there anyway to set up the program for each user so we do not have to spend all that time resetting everything?
I was thinking about using different windows logins and not sure if that would even work.
Open to suggestions.

Me personally, I will never use someone else's computer. The purpose of making sets at home is to be able to make it easier and know where you music is at all times. On someone's computer, you are constantly typing in and searching and, you will always forget certain songs you could have played. There are song many versions of a song and you are stuck playing what another person has in his database. You cant rock out the same using your own laptop vs using someone else. I visit my friend at a bar where he djs and once in a while, ill dj as he takes a break and ill use his laptop. I don't like someone of the version he has, He's also missing a lot songs I would normally play. I can still make people dance but, I cant get comfortable. I have all my songs cued up and I know what to play next quick.
When you DJ, you don't want to sound like everone else. The purpose of sets and cueing your songs a certain way will make you sound unique.

I use the profile switcher to go between completely different set ups and skins. I will switch between my Mixtrack, a 55" touch screen, and now my time code. Works great.
For the "other computer" issue. I would think the music library issue could be solved with your own external drive. Cue points, play lists, your versions of songs, etc. would all be there.

there is a huge new part in 8 that is going to allow hardware change and also profile change.. it will make it easy to switch things to how each dj need it!
