Unfortunately not. Its yellow or yellow.

Joey, he's talking about the titler plug in, not the text, or scrooling text plug in. The titler gets it's info from the tag or file name, you don't have to type anything in. So the yellow background is the only option, in version 7.

Which I happen to like (the yellow) but the tittler is not yet redone for 4 deck play,only 2 decks.... :(

According to the v2 thread, the code is
#`get loaded_song 'title'`#which I've just tried and it works - as long as the crossfader is over to the playing side.

Yup. The later v2 uses VDJScript; v1.5 uses the #MACRO# format.
