Sujet: variables

Ok...back to this lpd 8 I have lol lol....I have auto-cut set to pad 5...it works when pressed...like I want it to...but there are different beat variables to choose from when that effect is active...now I have knobs mapped to control parameters, but what script could I use to change the variables inside the effect....or any effect that has options inside the effect (ex. Boomerang effect where you can set the important beat into the song and eliminate the song(first button in boomerang plugin))
