Means you've logged out then.

Log in and don't log off.if you have more then one CP you only use one log in at a time.

this cant happen ever. what if these people didnt have internet? holding back cursing, but this cant happen. How do i prevent this from happening.

I can see the frustration but had you manually logged out, or logged into another machine whilst both we're online.

There must be a way to firewall virtualdj, Log in with your gig machine then lock it down so it can't log out (unless it times out some how)

BTW the EULA says you can use 2 laptops at the same time, possibly a typo because I can't see how that would work.

Not a typo.
Virtual DJ 8 only checks login status at start up. So you can login into machine 1 and then without closing VDJ log into machine 2.

@Djrated try setting V8 to never log out and making both inbound and outbound firewall blocking rules that way it should never, ever, log out by accident.

I did ask them a while ago to provide the ability to hide the log out button, so it couldn't be accessed by some random punter while the DJs back is turned (etc).

Instead of that, they were going to implement a warning message.

That seems to have disappeared.

the warning message is there, but only if virtualdj detects that there is no internet connection to log you back in.

As it's explained here:
-> /wiki/Use VirtualDJ 8 Offline
VirtualDJ will never log you out if it cannot detect first that you have an internet connection, that it is not blocked by a firewall, that our servers are working correctly, etc.
(unless you specifically click on "log out" and then click "yes" on the confirmation prompt)

It only works if there is no internet connection when VDJ starts up.

If the connection goes while VDJ is running then there is no warning.

Does VDJ shut down if you lose connection, while playing?
