Sujet: "Mix now" is fixed in 3 seconds WHY

Why is the mix now time fixed to 3 seconds? Please can you give us the option to change the time like on auto mix!

If you are in automix try automix_skip instead of mix_now
 
I havent downloaded 8 yet..what is "mix now"?
 
mix_now is also available in V7.

If you are in automix and do a doubleclick on one of the files in the automix list "mix_now" is executed and it is instantly fading to the next song in the automix list.

Of the Wiki page:

•mix_now : Smoothly crossfade from one side to the other, using beatsync if both songs have enough beat.

•mix_now_nosync : Smoothly crossfade from one side to the other.
 
I think tcdj1want to set the fadetime generelly not only in automix. And i also think it's where a nice feature to set the fadetime in mix_now!

Fading time in mix now mode is constant and cannot be changed at the moment.
 
You can change the 'mix_now' fade time from 0-16seconds in :
Settings/Options/Auto-Cross Lenght.

Mix_now is a nice feature to map as a keyboard key.
Also the lenght of this can be changed (see above).
Is it hower possible to perform also a Bass crossfade at the same time ... with the same keyboard press ?
'THAT' would be a very nice option for the beginning DJ'er !
 
I am using version 8, I cannot find Settings/Options/Auto-Cross Length.
 
Normally it's in automix menu, fadelength, but don't work for me :-(
 
FadeLenght is only affecting the fade in automix if "fade" is chosen as automix mode.
mix_now is, IIRC, not affected by the fadeLength value and is fixed to 3 or 4 seconds.

And the action for auto crossfade is "auto_crossfade" which can hold a parameter like "auto_crossfade 2000ms"

I don't have this option but thank to you, i had a way:
auto_crossfade 6000ms & mix_now

you can try also
auto_crossfade 6000ms & mix_now & pitch_reset
