Sujet: Novation Launchpad VDJ8 mapper

Hi There!

I just installed VDJ 8 Pro (Mac) from scratch (no previous versions) and this mapper. It installed a "Novation Launchpad VDJ8 mapper.xml" file in my VirtualDJ/mappers folder, but I cannot get VDJ to recognise the Launchpad, among the controllers it lists only the keyboard and nothing else.

Could you please tell me what else do I need to install to get my Launchpad detected by VDJ? Many thanks.

I solved the crazy frustrating launchpad no recognize Bulls#$%.. works for original launchpad pro for sure not positive on all mks but. Hold the setup button and power off and on. Keep holding setup while you do this - select the upperleft most orange square. - 2 rows of em at the top. when you do it should spell out ID 1 and leave that square highlighted. easy right? duh i wasted weeks not using that damn thingleggo of setup and turn on/off/on - should work
