I just purchased a Numark NS6 and am trying to use it with Virtual DJ 8. My issue is that in all the instructions I've found online, under audio settings/card the NS6 is an option. That is not the case for me. I don't know if that is the cause of this, but I am unable to use my crossfader. Anyone know what I can do to fix it?

I have no problem with the NS6.

You will need to install the necessary drivers from http://www.numark.com/product/ns6
