Sujet: Which XML editor is best to use?

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I'm having great 'fun' editing my skins file but it can be a right pain! I have been using notepad to edit, which has everything I need except line numbers and is difficult to see the syntax errors (until I save and try to run it!!!).
However, I really like to way Internet Explorer displays the code and can collapse the groupings. If only I could edit the lines with it....

Which editor do you recommend/find easiest/most convenient to use?

I use pspad. It's very good and free

Notepad ++

I use np++, for more or less everything text based. (line numbers, it colour codes words so errors are easier to spot, clicking the line number highlights the entire line, auto suggestions & groupings are collapsible)

Excellent suggestions, I have downloaded Notepad ++. Testing it out as we speak!
 
Yes, Notepad++ is the way to go.
