Sujet: VDJ 8 Download

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I searched, but got no answer. I can't see my VDJ 8 download links. I can only see the 7.4.1 MAC and Windows links. On the release announcement it refers to the download link at the top of the page, but that is the free download link - I'm looking for the registered d/l links.

It's the same thing. Everybody has the same software, when you log in to the software, if you've paid, things get unlocked.
 
What do you mean by log into the software? Do I have to be online? I'm using VDJ on laptops not connected to the internet. Do I simply enter my serial number after installation to unlock the software? I don't want to download the "wrong" version unnecessarily - bandwidth is expensive in South Africa... ;)
 
The software is the right one. As long as you download the O/S you need Windows or Mac then there isn't a wrong one.

You have to log into the software (using the same user name and password as here) while online Once. When you've done that VDJ makes a file called 'licence.dat' find that file in VDJ's root folder and save it somewhere else. You should ever need to log on again.

If your machines are NEVER EVER online then contact atomix with a support ticket, and they will give you a special code, but only if your machines are NEVER online (and they will check)

@Atomix Staff Isn't there a thread somewhere explaining all this?
