Sometimes when I press down semi-hard on the touch pads, it will sometimes cause the other song playing to start back at the first cue, in other words starting over completely.
I can't have this happen during events, any way to prevent this? Hercules RMX 2

I use the same controller and this has happened to me twice. I thought I had hit the wrong pad. Have not had the time to check out fully, as it may be the controller.

I can confirm this too. It happened with Windows 8.1 and V8 Build 2003.823 (beta).

sounds like it might be a manufacturing problem with that controller
like the insides are flexing when u push hard affecting other buttons.
doubt its a VDJ issue maybe send a email to the manufacturer and see what they say

I've had this happen a few times on my RMX2, no matter what mode the pads are in.
It's a hardware issue.

Try to disable velocity (in all modes) from the Hercules Control Panel.

You turning off the featuring that if you press down hard/semi-hard (drumming) the sample is louder the harder you press? If I did that if I press the pad, it would just play at the loudest volume?
What would be the disadvantage to doing this?

I e-mailed Hercules tech support, suggest everybody else experiencing this problem also send them an email - http://ts.hercules.com/eng/index.php
Maybe they can re-create the problem and update the firmware. I really don't want to disable this feature I feel in some instances the varying pressure is useful.

Okay I got a return message from Hercules a few seconds a go (3 mins to 1 am PST) and they said, to check the controller with DJUICED 40 to see if the problem is there.
Obviously if it's with VDJ only, then...... If it's with both, it's Hercules and they will look into it. So for those of you that have a RMX 2 I know you have DJUICED 40 like I do.
I just stopped trying to use it because it would randomly crash.
