Hi.
Can someone help me with this problem. I am scanning my music files using Virtual DJ 7 the reason being Infinity 8 takes too long. Virtual DJ 7 & 8 are installed in C: my external hard drive is H: i have not copied the database from H: to C: files are showing correctly with all the information in 7 but not 8.
Please can someone help with this, as I do not want to rescan all over again.
Thanks

Onvr VirtualDJ 8 is installed for the first time, it reads and converts the ver7 database and creates its own database files and uses those for that time and on.
If you scan/add files using version 7 from that time, version 8 will not read the new entries of the ver7 database. So, yes, you will have to scan the new entries with both versions, if you need to keep your music library updated for both.
It comes to a point, that you need to decide if you need to upgrade and use version 8 or not. If you intend to use both , one for a specific gig and the other for a different one, then unfortunately you will have to go through the above procedure.
