Is there a way I can get my music that has been analysed by VDJ to run through RekordBox without having to analyse it again.
When I use Pioneer kit, in order to see waveforms on the players the music has to be analysed by RekjordBox first. I just can't face analysing all my music again.
Any suggestions.

I think you're stuck with it until atomix sort something with pioneer, if pioneer will play ball that is.

Rekord Buddy 2 supposed to do this if it ever gets released.

Thanks for the repies.
I was hoping it was just a case of changing a file extension or creating some kind of database.
With Pioneer in a state of change at the moment, it's probably a good time for Atomix to approach them. I hear the new owners of Pioneer dj are going to invest a lot of money over the next few years.

Yeah, Rekord Buddy 2 does sound the absolute business. It was demonstrated at the BPM exhibition recently and really got me interested.
The software started out as a way to convert databases between different DJ programs, but it's developing into something more than that.
It doesn't just convert, but allows you to use it instead of your main program to maintain your data.
RB2 is Mac only right now, and is in beta. There will be a PC version following soon after.
Not sure about the waveforms though. VDJ "creates" the waveform when it loads the tracks. The data is not stored anywhere.

Is there a way to export the waveform that VDJ generates to a CDJ 2000 nexus.
You don't get the large scrolling waveform that you get with Rekordbox files. It's not essential but it looks nice.

But you don't get the big scrolling waveform on a cdj2000 when you play tracks that have not been run through Rekordbox.
Just wondering if there was a way round this.
