what's the best way of ripping cd's nowadays?
and for cdg's?

I use iTunes to manage my library, therefore I also use it to rip my CD's into its lossless format.

MP3+g Toolz and Audiograbber can rip CDG's. Audiograbber is also good for ripping audio cd's.
