in vdj8 how to i get the beat grid plugin to remember my programmed grids?

I ran in to this problem, It should just save BUT if it doesn't, the way to get it to save is to set all decks including master (Over-kill cover all method)
The reason if any FX is in any slot (visible or otherwise) on several decks (inc master) then changes are not saved.

This very same problem drove me mad in the early V8 days, I ended up flattening my machine, and the problem cropped up 5 minutes after reformatting. Much swearing was done, much more when I figured I'd spent 1/2 a day flattening my machine of no good reason.

I gave up trying to save the changes, I just have one "beat grid" thingy and control it manually, if I hold it long it goes "bum bum bum bum, bum bum, bum, bum bum"
and I play with it as I want, according to the song ... oh god I am so prehistoric ... LOL
In the old days I used to do this with a mic while somebody else played with the turntables!
