Sujet: Delay when auto-mix enabled for Back-to-Back Songs

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hello Everyone,

I DJ traditional Greek music, and I have some non stop medleys that are split into single tracks. When I play in winamp, it goes smooth from one track to the next, but when I try to get it into VirtualDj (Load 6 songs in playlist, click Start Automix and select Back-To-Back for AutoMix Type), there is a slight delay when switching songs and it throws the transition off. I am trying to get all my split track medleys converted into one song. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If they came from a CD, you could rip as one track with "smartripper", it's free. You could record as one track. Have you tried any other options in automix, to see if you get better results? There is probably a way with the automix editor, I just don't know how to use it.

Hi Vassili,
I would record them all together in VDJ one time manually.
best wishes

All options? Did you try recording the old fashion way, analog? If you record digitally, the track id will also record. You should be able to record through analog cables to a tape/DAC/CD/DVD recorder. Have you tried smartripper? I have not used it in years, but I remember being able to rip multiple tracks as one.
