I can't get video/karaoke to play on my external screen whilst using my denon mc6000 mk2. However it works when my controller is not connected and I'm just using pc. All I get when using controller is black screen with vdj logo on it?

Did you switched your OS to extended screen mode ?
win + p button
when set please check if the screen res of your external screen is set correctly
