i have a friend looking to buy a used controller,a RMX I think,can you buy a license just for that controller and how much it would be,Thanks in advance

Yes, a PLUS license for the Hercules RMX is available for purchase.

I have rmx. Do i have to map it if i use vdj8? I look at the list of controller that can use vdj8 but only rmx2 has the instruction manual to map vdj8 and not rmx.

il m'arrive de plus en plus souvent quand je met un morceau de musique a l’extérieur de mon domicile, c'est a dire que je ne suis plus dans mon espace WIFI, des morceaux de musique sont bloqués avec la mention en anglais que les morceaux doivent être " REVITALISER" pouvez-vous m'aider et me dire ce qu'il faut faire afin que ça n'arrive plus

That link is what im talking about. It has a manual for rmx2 but not for rmx. I know that u can still use vdj8 for rmx but u have to map it. How to do the mapping?
 
You do not have to map it, it is already mapped. You can change any of the mappings to your liking. I don't know the reasoning for some manuals being shown, and not others. The point is, every controller listed on that page is mapped out of the box, for VDJ. However, as a home user, you may have some limitations using controllers. Pro users can use any controller on that page.

I have vdj 6 pro that im using for my rmx and i downloaded the vdj8 in which i can use my rmx for 10 mins. The thing is, some of the functions on vdj8 (ie sampler,effects , loop) cant not be controlled by rmx. This is the reason im asking if i have to map my rmx to vdj8 so i can use my rmx to activate these functions.

Once Pro is registered to your account, you will be able to use VDJ without any 10 min limits.

It will also allow you to download any & all mappings, skins, plugins etc.

I am running VDJ 8 with a Pioneer DDJ - SX2 and every time start VDJ it runs for a while and then cuts out and says I need to sign in, usually I just fire up my iPhone internet so I can sign in, is there any way of stopping this happening? I have infinity PRO membership.
 
Please try not to hijack other peoples threads/topics.

VDJ 8 will only give a "ten minute warning" if you have not signed in to the software. Once you have signed in, you should not be required to do so again unless you sign out.

Also, the sign in supposedly now allows you to sign in on two computers without one logging the other out (as it used to).

I bought my rmx from my friend and he downloaded the software to my laptop. Everytime i use vdj, i see that it's registered to his emaill add....now i want to upgrade to vdj8 and still use my rmx . I downloaded the free vdj8 version (where i can only use it for 10 mins with my rmx) to try it with my rmx and see if i can use it to control the sampler, effects and loops. If rmx can control those function, then i will buy the vdj8 (only the per controller version).
 
Two things:

Firstly he should not have shared his registered software with you or anyone else. The EULA does not permit that. The s/w is registered to him only.

Secondly, you should delete his software from your computer as you are not licensed to use it.

FYI the controller license is for home use only.

I dont do gig, i only use it at home.
 
Hi, If I purchase a license to unlock my controller can I use it on my 2 laptops and my Desktop ?
