I don't know happened it was working just fine before. I was working a karaoke gig last Saturday and on every karaoke file I played I got the black border on both sides. So how do i get the video to cover the whole screen???

Go to options > advanced > video > select zoom, I think that may help.

It's currently on "zoom". That seems to work for video files but not for cdg-mp3 files

Its an internal option and cannot be changed at the moment. Karaoke files will play at their original aspect ratio regardless the setting you choose.
It has been already reported in the Version 8 Bug report forum.

I am having trouble with Content Unlimited I can't search for any songs. When I try to type in a song nothing comes up.

Its not the end of the world :)
It makes sense to have the Karaoke files not stretched though. However, an option to have the old behavior back would be useful i guess.

It's not the end of world? Are you kidding me? Really? How about when an update gets rolled out they change something that doesn't need changing it makes me look so unprofessional.... It's like if someone complained about set cue not working correctly and u responding "oh you don't need those it makes no sense having it". Your response is laughable. I can tell u have never done karaoke

a professional will check settings before every gig, especially after a change to gear, like a software update.
You can be upset that things work differently or change your config after an update, but you can't blame anyone else for being or appearing unprofessional.

I'm not blaming anyone but a response from staff asking why would I want to? Seems unprofessional on their part. Proper response from staff would be "sorry for the inconvenience but we are doing everything we can to correct the problem" end of story
