I will be away from any connection for 4 weeks, will my cache still be there when I come back , what is the maximum time you can leave it without refreshing ?

It will require refreshing at least every 30 days. So at 4 weeks you are stretching the limits.

Maybe you can set your cell phone up as a hot spot. I know data usage is a concern for some. But, refreshing content should not be that much data. Do it once, two weeks in.
