Discussion about Shrink Loop

This FX is a shrinking slipped loop,
Dial 1 controls the amount of times it shrinks (turn this dial to 0% at anytime to exit the effect too)
Dial 2 controls how quickly it shrinks.
The stop button (default off) turns auto exit on and off, so the FX closes when the counter reaches the counter max.
The Auto_X button make the GUI appear and disappear, either automatically or as usual manually.

On the wave form (both position and rhythm) a cue appears to show you how close to counter max you are.

Please bear in mind if you have the stop button on and have both the speed and counter very low you may have the FX switch off without any noticeable effect.
This FX will be opened up to plus & LE licences 3 months from today.
Any thought's, faults or problems please post.

A great many thanks to Scot for much guidance and the brave souls who beta'd for me.

There is the obvious, edm style build up, but then there's less obvious uses like single shot loops (loop 1.5, sounds great with break beats) or there's the hardstyle triple,

I think I'll change the minimum counter to 1 instead of 0, (and some other ideas)

this is something that reminds me the DaftFunk Vst (even if I would prefer DaftFunk if only it would works for me...).

If you want to try something interesting use the standard Brakestart FX (on a 3 to 10 s setting) while using shrink loop, it sounds pretty good.

mmmmh, not bad!
but I think I prefer set the % of the pitch to 100% and then play with it while Shrink Loop is active :)

I absolutely love this! But, Doesn't seem stable...

NS7II randomly looses connectivity while using it. I have to power down the NS7II all together to get the NS7 working again. A reboot of VirtualDJ is not enough.

Hi there!

Could someone share an example of mapping for it?
To use it at its best with buttons/fader/knobs of the controller?

Would it be possible to add a "ramp delay" effect to the Shrink Loop?

When I activate it , it makes automatical more than 100 Hotcues...
What is this??

It does? oh damn I thought I updated that, it's the autoSortCues option that causes it. I'll get a fix uploaded.

Is there a possibility of this effect coming to ARM Mac?
