Sujet DNX600 question

Question... Im using the latest VDJ 8 with windows 8.1 on an i3 machine with a denon DN-X600 mixer in DVS mode. Everything is working fine... EXCEPT sometimes the sound sounds like its under water... Can someone tell me what the buffer setting should be on the DENON ASIO driver and also any setting on VDJ8 I should adjust? Do I leave the mixer at 96KhZ or move it to 44? so I leave ultra latency on or off (Is that even a setting in V8)?
