let me say what I feel you deserve
vdj is the best dj software out there comparing with serato and traktor
and allow me to point why :
serato :
serato is very good in sound quality and that's it
1- no quality in the interface it misses a lot of options
2- the browser is the worst ever as you cant drag and drop and if you add a folder in your hdd it wont show in serato browser
3- cant analyze any song on the fly which you need first to disconnect your controller so you can analyze and song
4- BPM analyzer is accurate but never gives you the first down beat as vdj do mostly
5- cant change the interface as you're stuck with one weak interface with the same color witch you're forced to live with
6- it gives you a basic effects and options and if you want more you must buy for example the key tempo control witch serato call it ( pitch n time )
traktor:
1- traktor is very good in effects as it have the best effect processor in its field and that's it
2- cant change the interface as you're stuck with one weak interface with the same color witch you're forced to live with
3- very heavy on your cpu as it eats your cpu meter and eats nearly all your cpu and ram resources
4- very hard to understand the options and if you need to configure your sound setup it needs a long time and knowledge to resolve it
so at the end
1- vdj is easer to use
2- a bunch of skins witch gives you exactly what you need to see
3- can analyze any song on the fly
4- can drag and drop any song or folder and analyze it and play it in 5 seconds not more
5- can configure your sound setup in 10 seconds
6- can use it with almost every controller out there
7- good and instant support from the website team
