When I buy the full version of Virtual DJ 8 and when I buy the timecode vinyl can I use my SL 1 Serato soundcard, or do I have to buy the Hercules deejay trim 4&6

You can use any sound card that offers 2 stereo inputs and any TC vinyls.
As for the SL1, it should work fine on Windows (even if its a very old one), if not mistaken not working on Mac, but i may be wrong.
You can still use Home Free version as demo prior purchasing. It will work for 10 minutes each time you restart the software.
