Sujet: VDJ8 Pitch lock

Is there a way to keep the pitch lock function always activated in VDJ8 when adding a new song to a player? If yes can someone guide me in setting it up? I go in option and choose yes but when I add a new song to the player the pitch lock turns off. Is there a custom button that can be created to keep it activated?

You could try

Deck x load & pitch_lock 1
 
Where do I type that PachN? I was really good with VDJ7 but 8 is a bit different... I put it in actions in custom button but nothing happens. I tried deck 1 to replace the x
 
put this on buttons you will use to load the decks with a song
Deck 1 load & pitch_lock 1
Deck 2 load & pitch_lock 1
Deck 3 load & pitch_lock 1
Deck 4 load & pitch_lock 1
etc...

select a song and hit one of the buttons :-)
 
What your saying is I have to hit a button each time I load a song in a player?? Hitting Pitch lock on the skin I'm using does exactly that. I want pitch lock to stay on always like in VDJ7
 
check if resetPitchOnLoad is active
this could cause the issue
set i to no
and pitchLock to yes
should be the setting you are looking for
