Sujet: Interesting results Norton

Running Norton Power eraser tells me that the only unsafe application on my PC is VDJ pro .exe status BAD remove
Never did trust Norton

Been like this for years. Norton is trash.
 
I used to be affiliated in a big with with Symantec and the Norton brand. (I can't say how due to NDA, but let's just say I have some original source code.)

I was a BIG advocate of NAV, Norton SystemWorks, etc., however most of those tools are no longer relevant. (Norton Speed Disk was by far the best defrag tool for a bit, however now with the proliferation of SSD's, defragging is no longer relevant.)

I'm not judging, however what's the need for that tool?
 
None really. just trying to find what is causing processor high usage on home pc with browser open, some find things others don't, malwarebytes can't find anything nor my virus software, i like to check these things before looking deeper, that's all no other reason. Just posted it as VDJ was the only issue that found.

Normally stay well clear of any norton stuff.
 
Avira, Norton and MacAffee are usesell IMO.
