Sujet: I was fuming with Adion.

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I started up VDJ8 and the crossfader on my skin would not move.
Hm.. I thought to myself "Adion what have you done, it's the internet again."
Then I remembered I was using a hardware mixer with cdj's !
Sorry for the bad thought Adion.
You have given us the best dj software in the world, but it's a challenge.
Be careful with additions involving the internet.
Only AMAHM seems to trust the internet, and he is a mere dj, so he say's.
The natives are restless.

Have you been drinking again?

A little later, about 9 or 10 o'clock.
Then coffee around midnight.

I really did have problems yesterday, I have two Denon cdj's, and two more or less identical laptops.
They only differ by two programs, one had Traktor installed, whilst the other had Ableton.
It was straight forward connecting the two cdj's with the Ableton laptop using VDJ8, but try as I might I could only connect one cdj on the Traktor laptop.
Note I did uninstall Traktor a short while back.
Overnight I cloned the hdd of the working laptop, and in the morning fitted the fresh clone into the troubled laptop.
All I had to do then was change the windows product key.
Microsoft were fine, and the online activation was not a problem.

I should not really have had that problem.
One would not know who to blame.
Acronis made light work of the solution.

Will you two guys ever stop to upset each other?

We can do better guys, this forum grows on top of positive thoughts and optimism.

Regards,
Daniel

It's a defence of VD8, and Adion.
I said it was my fault.
My hardware mixer cannot move the crossfader, up faders or anything else in VDJ !
Sorry for writing a confusing post.

I think Adion would have read , and understood what I wrote.

Next time, might I suggest "I was made at Aidon UNTIL" as a title. That one extra word would change perception.

I did it on purpose TearEmUp.
I wanted to get the attention of those who are critical of VDJ8, and then make them question whether their criticism was valid.
Like myself, could it be the user who was at fault ?

Hm I should have made it clear that it was not a USB enabled mixer.
