I know this may be a dumb question ,
but I want to disable the keyboard shortcuts completely , how do I do it ?
A few times during a gig I have accidently paused the music when searching for a song ,
didn't place the cursor in the search bar and must have pressed a keyboard shortcut that acts as a stop button .
I don't have any need for the keyboard shortcuts as I use a controller ,

Assuming v8, set the keyboard mapping to Ignore in Settings > Controllers.

You could also remap all or your most common keys (space or E for example) to "search" in the mapping editor.
This way whenever you forgot to focus the search, VDJ is gonna do it for you and except for the 1st press you can just type right away without having to focus it yourself.
Pretty neat when you only use the controller for DJing and not the Keyboard.
