A few weeks ago my laptop had a clean install of windows done onto a new hard drive and the old hard drive was removed. This hard drive contains the history, playlists etc.
Is there a way that I can find a file that contains the data on the number of times that tracks were played?

The Play Counts are stored in the database.xml so if you have that as backup, the number of Plays should be displayed.

If it's Windows then the file you want to copy is:
X:\Users\YourOldUsername\Documents\VirtualDj\database.xml where X: is the drive letter the old drive will take once you mount it on a computer
