Can you send me the old settings.xml? I'm not sure which setting would cause this to happen.
 
Would be great if you can get the webmaster (Rune?) to provide a portal for uploads to the dev team. This has been asked for god knows how many times now.
 
Even if you could store a small amount on your home page or account page (like we can upload pictures for posts - they're stored somewhere).

Then TPTB could access the files for whichever user they're dealing with.

Has anyone managed to use this 'key from tag' successfully?

I've been messing with it today and I cannot get the MIK value into the 'key' field using the batch 'reload tags'. I can manually change the value in the 'key' field, but, it would take forever to change loads of values manually. I have been storing the MIK values in the comments section and have the comments value showing in the player window. I have useKeyFromTag set to 'Yes'

PhantomDJ has updated his SilverSleek skin with the new Phantom Decks display showing the Camelot Key. It would be great for those of us who use the MIK values to be able to make full use of this new development.
 
Where do you save the MIK key data to?

I would imagine that the VDJ option is only capable of retreiving it from the 'key' tag.
 
MIK is set to;
'Store Key Result'
'Overwrite Comments'
Update 'InitialKey' tag

In VDJ8 highlighting a few songs then 'Reload Tags' doesn't change the 'Key' tag, but, the Comments are updated with any new information.
 
So these tracks you're trying to update have already been scanned (and a key added) by VDJ?

Maybe it only functions on newly added tracks, that have been thru MIK but not scanned by VDJ...
