Sujet: Echo Doppler Reset

VDJ8, when my Echo Doppler settings never stay the same. From song to song, every time I start up Virtual. I have to hit "Reset".
I have it mapped to a Sample Pad on my sx2. Here's what I've tried but no difference:

effect_active 1 "Echo Doppler" while_pressed & effect_button 1 Reset

Also, to mention I only want to be able to adjust slider 1 when I trigger it.

I have learned that in order to save settings, effects must be closed out before closing down. I set it to an effect I don't care about.
