I started out using Virtual DJ8 and had all my cues set, but then i bought a set of turntables that came with another version of Virtual DJ. In the different verion, none of my cues are set. Is there a way to transfer the cues? or would i have to go through & set them all over again?

Unfortunately you have to set the cues again, because only if it were the same version (like VDJ 8) then the cues would save, but the database of the VDJ 8 on your PC is incompatible with the one on your turntable, so therefore you have to set the cues again for the turntable, and yes it will save (only if you have another PC with the same version as the one on your turntable, like VDJ 7) the cues, making it easier. I hope this answers your question. Have a nice day!

I assume that by "turntables" you're referring to a MIDI controller? I don't know of any turntables (i.e. record decks that play vinyl) which ship with DJ software.
Which version of VDJ is the "another version" which you mention? Is it VDJ 7 LE or VDJ 8 LE?
Have you installed both versions on the same computer?
VDJ 7 and VDJ 8 use different databases, but the 7 database will import into 8 when 8 is first installed. Unfortunately it doesn't work the other way around (8 into 7) because the usual scenario is 7->8 not 8->7. The cues are stored in the database.
There is a utility available from the download section which converts version 8 databases to version 7. http://www.virtualdj.com/plugins/index.html?addonid=80185
