So I just bought my first controller and am just totally confused. I'm using a PC with Windows 10 and have VDJ 7. I have absolutely no idea where to start to get these two components to work together. I'm reading forums, watching videos and now asking questions. Help please

DDJ-SX2 will not work with VDJ 7. It's supported by version 8 only.

Just downloaded VDJ 8, now I'm even more confused. I was told this was a simple plug in and it would work. I hate sales people!

It is plug and play with V8. You need to make sure you have installed the Pioneer drivers that came with it first.
Have a read of this, it's for the SX but the same principles apply.
