Sujet: Side list/ Mix list

Please Help if you can. So I pull up my music I'm searching for on V dj music folder area. when I see the song I want I drag it to my side folder which I have set up below my music folder list. the issue I'm having or what I don't like is once I have songs in my side list, ill pick the ones I want and drag over to mix list, but it leaves a copy. same when I remove from mix list if I decide I don't want it there it leaves a copy when I move it out. I know I can right click and remove song from list, but its faster if I can drag song between folders and make it leave and not leave a copy of it self. hope this makes since and some one can help. Thanks

I have the same issue. If you drag between sidelist and automix it leaves a copy. I don't think there's a way around this.

There are options to remove from both sidelist and automix list once played (tick advanced options). The time it takes for the track to disappear is the setting historyDelay which is the time it takes for a song to appear in your played history in seconds. Not sure if that will help.

try Settings/ advanced options:

removePlayedFromSidelist = YES
automixAutoRemovePlayed = YES

that's not an answer for the question.
he does not want to remove the track when it es played, but in the moment it is "moved" (copies at the moment) from playlist to sidelist or the other way around.

would be nice to be able to MOVE with drag and drop. also would be nice to have VDJScript commands for this - so you could assign a key or make a button in a skin.
 
I've been asking VDJ to bring back drag and drop for the same reasons since 8 became available. Good luck with that request!! That's why I'm still using 7. They went 2 steps backward in my opinion with 8 in this case... it would be nice to do 1 movement/click instead of 2! Sometimes a client asks for a song I don't recognize and if I scan and listen to it for 20 secs or so it goes into the side list. At least the drag and drop is a much quicker way to dump it.

for Sidelist: load & sidelist_load_and_remove
for Playlist ( AUtomix): load & playlist_load_and_remove
