Hi peeps,

i updated to 8.2 a couple days ago, and found out that the skip function doesnt work anymore.

When pressing shift and turning on the jog wheel the track used to skip forward a lot quicker as compared to only spinning the jog wheel - however with vdj 8.2 the shift function does not work anymore.

Has it changed now or do i need to fix something?

Should be fixed in the latest Early Access build 3272
 
it stil does not work tho - can i fix it on my own in the options/setting somewhere?
 
Build 3272 and factory default mapping ?
 
just checked, and yes it is b3272 with default mapping ... how come it works with your controller, but doesnt with mine?
 
its still not working - can you guys please fix this.
 
Can anyone else check on his DDJ-SR. Here works fine, weird.

When you press SHIFT and move the jog, do you touch the top of the platter ?
 
shouldnt matter.

Just to make sure, can you delete the file settings.xml from /Documents/VirtualDJ folder , re-launch VirtualDJ 8 and see if it works now ?
 
@phantom: when i touch the sides of the platter its moving a little quicker than my regular speed, but looks like slow motion / and when i turn on the top of the platter it moves quicker, however it is the same speed with or without adding the shift button.

isnt there anything in the options where i can reconfigurate the shift button?

@dad: i just deleted the file, opened vdj again but i didnt change anything.
 
please do the following..
Use the 2 Decks default skin and assign a custom button as ..
deck 1 wheel_mode 'search'
Then Hold SHIFT down on the DDJ-SR
Does the Custom button turn on while SHIFT is held down ?
