Is there a built in control for this yet?
I need it just for my SX2... and for personal taste when no controller is connected.
On my TTs, CDJS, SZ it's not necessary at all.
I've seen a thread about using the brake effect as a workaround but I don't want to go this route.
Thanks

Not aware of any other method apart from the brake start/stop effect.
Any particular reason you don't want to use it as it works perfect for me?

brakespeed The time track needs in order to stop
startupspeed The time the track needs to start
Both actions are taken into account when using the play/pause commands, not stop & cue

Hi George,
Thanks for the reply but I am not sure if it is for me or kradcliffe.
And I apologize if I might have used an incorrect term (STOP vs PAUSE). But I'm glad you understood what I meant.
Going back to my question...
brakespeed The time track needs in order to stop
startupspeed The time the track needs to start
are these available in the settings/configuration yet?
If not, a script for all of the 4 decks would be really much appreciated.
IMPORTANCE to me...
1 - Quick Pause (mostly) on 4th beat then press PLAY again on 1 (similar to most Nicki Minaj vocal brake effect)
2 - Accidental Pause of the Live Deck (let's admit it happens to everyone every once in a while) would NOT create a dead-air. With a good reflex, it wouldn't even sound like an error but instead will just sound like doing the above (1).

If you want a global value across all decks then you could use the setting 'rampStopTime'
If you want it per deck, or easily adjustable on the fly then I'd recommend the above 'brakespeed' mapped to a slider/knob.

Which is exactly what SZ has mapped on "STOP TIME" knob (since OP mentioned SZ ;) )
