Hi. I bought two active qtx bassbins (max. 600w). I normally ran a rca to XLR cable from the Mixer's booth input to the bassbins. Now I seems to have a problem. One of bassbin's active component is faulty and I'm thinking of changing it to a passive bassbin. I then want connect this bassbin from the active bassbin XLR output.
Will the active bassbin handle the power of itself and the passive bassbin. reason for asking - I don't want to do something and end up with both bassbins faulty.
Hope someone can assist me.
Thanks

I wouldn't think you can. Some subs, like the wharfedale ones allow an active to power a passive, but you only have a thru on the QTX to daisy chain other powered units. QTX are a pretty poor quality manufacturer so they are not likely to last too long. I would just save up and get one decent sub.

One at the side of my bed, the other I use as a step to climb onto the 4.7k stack at the other side of the room.
I've never had a noise complaint, well maybe neighbours have tried but I never hear them knocking XD
